Jane's Mission Cat Rescue and Adoptions

Welcome graphic

Our mission at Jane's Mission Cat Rescue and Adoptions is to serve the community by advocating on behalf of all homeless pets.
  • to increase adoptions by rescuing and fostering there by decreasing cost of impouding of unwanted animals and euthanasia.
  • to educate the public, especially children, about responsible pet ownership through affordable spay/neuter programs.
  • to cultivate awareness that pets improve our emtional and physical well-being and enhance our society by instilling values of respect and appreciation of all living things.

Another cat? Perhaps. For love there is also a season; its seeds must be resown. But a family cat is not replaceable like a wornout coat or a set of tires. Each new kitten becomes its own cat, and none is repeated. I am four cats old, measuring out my life in friends that have succeeded but not replaced one another. -- Irving Townsend

A 13th century Egyptian sultan left his entire fortune to the needy cats of Cairo. For many years afterward homeless cats received a free meal daily.

On May 7, 2004, Jane was honored for her work with homeless cats at the 2004 Salute to Hometown Heroes.

We are very proud to be associated with Jane and her work!
