My name is Flower and my story starts out at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society?.. I was a young mom taken in during the height of kitten season. Jane had taken me in to foster as well as some other Moms and kittens.

When the kittens were ready they went back to the shelter but I stayed at Jane?s because the Shelter was full and people aren't as anxious to adopt Moms as they are kittens.

During the summer, Jane discovered that I was really an "only cat" kind of girl. Well maybe, one other cat, but it would have to be a really nice cat!!

Ahhh, Dino had it right. Unfortunately for me, I saw a few too many moons outside a pizzeria on freezing winter nights. As you can see, the cold did a number on my ears (not to mentionthe ear mites!)I may look like a tough guy, but I'm really a marshmallow inside. I would prefer to be your only "paesano" (Dogs are OK, they don't bother me) Right now, because of my past, I'm an indoor/outdoor kind of guy.
